Took only Smudgee on a trail ride. She was most impressive. She does love to scamper ahead. When we arrived at the water crossing, a simple "Go Swimming" command and she headed across. Josie and I caught up with her on the other side. The grounded leaves make it hard to see the trail so we ended up off-roading a few times. Heading back Josie jumped straight up, all four leaving the ground. She did this twice and then decided it was nothing. What a goof!
Agility and Cross Creek Fun Show on Saturday. Smudgee went through all the jumps this time. We ran weaves to tunnel and back to weaves again. When we got to the A Frame, we schooled the hoops on the ground then added them to the A Frame. Smudgee isn't quite getting it. At one point she jumped over the hoop. Hopefully, she will be like she was with the jumps and there won't be an issue next week. Last week Dick had said she should be able to go far in agility.
"No news is good news" worked for a couple of days. After waiting a week, I am feeling like I am probably not in the running. I really want this job. It will challenge me and I will learn so much. Today, I sent a direct "am I still being considered for the position" email. If not, I will be hanging out at WorkForce, taking advantage of classes and getting their assistance to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.
Enjoying my mobile hotspot. I went a little crazy and used up most of my five gig downloading upgrades. These were IOS upgrades and pretty large. My visions of canceling cable have been pushed aside. I will have to continue to take advantage of free wireless spots for these larger items.
Okay, I have hit Get Mail at least ten times in ten minutes. I should probably get out of here for a while.
