Sunday
Cloudy, rainy day, great for going through closets and getting more space in the second bedroom. Went through old clothes that I have been keeping with the thought that I might be able to wear them again. One was a size two - ya! Not going to happen. All the suits I had were more than ten years old, the jackets were snug and the skirts and pants didn’t fit at all. I must say it was a little depressing but I have reached an acceptance. I will lose two inches but do not see myself being the size I use to be again.
Ended up with two large bags and one grocery bag. Somebody is going to hit the jackpot when they go through these donations. Now I just need to drop the stuff off.
A little help from my friends and I was able to enjoy sesame chicken and apple pie.
Monday
Killing time until a decision is made for the position I want. Took the pups for a two mile walk. We have been averaging four miles a day. I will be glad when squirrel season is over but then again that means it will be cold. The proverbial double edged sword.
A lovely sunny day, forecasted to be in the 60’s.
I had a splendid ride on Josie today. We have been doing very well as of late. I had the arena to myself and enjoyed focusing on us instead of worrying about traffic. I had in my mind to watch my shoulder hunch.
After finishing, we went for a trail ride with P and J. As we neared the water crossing, J said, “There’s the eagle.” All this time boarding, I have heard of the eagles being spotted but had yet to see them. I saw him immediately. He watched us come near and decided to take flight. What an awesome sight to behold. Josie and I watched as he flew along above the water. BEAUTIFUL!
There is nothing like the sound of leaves being scatter about by the horses hooves. I couldn’t hear the other’s over the sounds but that was okay. Gazing around at all the remaining colorful trees.
