Stopped at Home Depot for the fourth time in less than a month. Really getting tired of it. Tried a new flapper - nope - this one seals well but upon flushing remains up - GRRRRRR!
Wednesday I went for a visit at BW. I having been out there in ages. You should see the jumps. With J retired he has time for spiffing up things. I was very surprised to see jumps in the brown arena.
Henry is huge! Last we saw him he was barely below my knee. He has grown up and filled out. Hard to believe he is a year old already. I was interested to see how Wy would be around a GS and he was fine. I kept hold of Pix as she likes to protect Wy but H and Wy just checked each other out. Then it was Pixie's turn. She did her usual gruff and grumble. We took them out to the field. Best to keep pups moving. Good to see MJ. She is getting around really well after her pup took her out at the knee playing Frisbee. This is when little dogs are better.
I gave Lights some treats and said my goodbyes. He has not been doing very well and will be assisted to the Rainbow bridge. K is taking it pretty hard. I wonder if she will place him next Street Walker? Quite the champion in his day. Lovely freestyles. Say Hi to my boys for me Lights.
We watched Abbey's pony and H's Roadie jumping. Boy talking about growing up and filling out. Roadie looks awesome.
As I ride Josie up to the arena, I notice a car coming at us very quickly. I mouth "Slow down" with no slowing happening. Sure enough Josie spooked. She has never spooked at a vehicle walking on the road. Turked me so I yell "SLOW DOWN" which resulted in one of the irritating waves and again no reduction in speed. GRRRRRR! I yell SLOW DOWN EVEN LOUDER. Unnecessary but it made me feel better. Speaking of which must send email to Dawn. I apologized to H for yelling at her client's mom. She apologized her client's mom spooking my horse.
My ride last night while good wasn't as good as others have been was still good. I feel like I am doing everything but find I need to drop a gear and then try again. Guess that is what training is all about :)
Work in the morning, Pix to go to the fair as spokesdog, soccer Saturday night and desensitising clinic Sunday - chock full weekend!
Geeeeeeeet it Josie!
