Pixie (left) and Pita at the fair. Pixie is at the Purebred exhibit. Sunday was her first day. She is to be there Wednesday and Saturday. I had asked that if she wasn't tolerating it well that she come home but J said the first couple hours she wasn't liking it too much. She then settled down. She is even making her mom like it more. J brought Harley Angle (Pix's female pup) over when she picked up Pix. OMG! She is a pistol. She took a toy right out of Wy's mouth. Needless to say Wy was not happy about that. Pix plays with Harley so now Pita thinks Harley is pretty cool. I under estimate the power of Pixie.

Still working on the toilet. I HATE plumbing! I have a new lovely Hunter fan/light installed in my dining/living room. Oh, it is wonderful. Thanks D!

Got out late to play soccer. With the cooler temps the horses had been frisky and flinchy. I worked Josie in the round pen before jumping aboard bareback. Cory was introduced to the ball. She really didn't want to hit it but eventually she moved it twice. She liked it best when it was moving and she walked toward it.

Josie was her daredevil self. Gosh! It is so much fun. I am getting better at steering her so we are really moving the ball around. We even put it into the boards and bounced off it - Josie didn't care a bit! Wyatt kept creeping into the arena and one time I charged at him with Josie when he wasn't listening and Josie took a couple canter steps as I had kissed to get her trotting faster while kissing means canter. Yahoooo! I cantered bareback on Josie for the first time.

Sunday was the desensitisation clinic. Josie was better than ever. I did most things unmounted first and then mounted. We walked over a bridge - a very heavy duty pallet looking piece. We stood on the blue tarp and even put the flag up and down on the mailbox. We still need to work on the umbrella plus I want to start to introduce her to the roping rope. She is JUST incredible!!
