Vroooom, vroooom, mmmmmm me want a Porsche. Me want a Porsche bad. Friday L came over and we zoomed to Chipotle. AND I mean ZOOMED! WOW! Now I understand totally. German engineering is awesome.
Saturday we received rain. We received rain all day. Knowing how Josie feels about being ridden when wet, I decided to take a me day. Pix was being dropped off with J tomorrow instead of Monday so we had one less day together.
Also, I started The Host by the author of Twilight. I like how Stephanie Meyer writes. Romantic but not in that cheesy romance novel way. Keep it up my new favorite author.
Sunday brings a bit of sorrow with Pix going to Dover Kennel for the birth of her puppies. I know J will take good care of her but I miss that little stinker! I told J to call me when she goes into labor. I am going to try to be there for her and myself. I am worried about the little girl.
Josie was a dirty girl. The mud was dry and came off easily from her slick coat. I rode in my jumping saddle. Wonder how many hours I have on that thing yet. I practiced two point for quite a while. I was tempted to ride her in the updoor but figured she would only think of going back to pasture or whether the herd was getting grain yet or no. She is definitely food motivated.
Josie has lost her goofy baby tooth. I was hoping to snatch it but she lost it on one of the days - Friday or Saturday. I checked her grain bin, it wasn't there. Darn! Her mouth sure looks a lot better without it sticking off to the side when she is bridled.
Helped M move vehicles around today. Drove all over - LeSeur is very pretty country. I hadn't seen the Jolly Green Giant and Sprout billboard for quite a while. Having been through it I feel for what she is going through with the divorce. Poor M.
Wyatt is enjoying being king of the roost. He comes to bed straight away now. Little does he know tomorrow he gets a bath. Time for Frontline again.
