The puppies were very excited to get to the barn. They have taken to sharing the space between the front seats. I, too, was excited to get to the barn. I hadn't ridden since before the surgery. Josie came when I called, trotting the middle then walking up to me. I used extreme caution to avoid my nose getting smacked.
I decided to be safe and lunge her before. She did very well for her second time being lunged in the indoor arena. The ride started out all right then more people came in to ride which limits what her and I can do. Our ride then went south fast. She kept trying to canter with me doing nothing or with trying to make a circle. I final got a circle of trot out of her and left the arena. I decided to write it off - it will be fine.
