Overcast day that turned very stormy. Definite training experience. Wyatt didn’t really like the thunder and lightning. We were all under the cover of a breezeway. T taught us a couple of tricks – tap to get them to follow your hand which comes in handy for agility to get them to switch to your other side. Spin and bounce. I need to start saying these things when Wyatt does them on his own. Wyatt was doing well until we did the down. When I use the leash to put him down he gets submissive and goes on his side. Will try this theory out next time we have class. We practice stays by clapping, jumping and stomping. We then walked around the dog in both directions. We learned to teach a proper halt you walk towards a wall and give the sit signal. You also use a wall to teach the quick about.
It ended up raining 3 to 4 inches.
No food for Wyatt after 8:00 as he is going in for his surgery – jewel removal. I teared up a bit thinking of him going and he licked away the tears. So cute!
