Ready for snow now. My winter paddock boots arrived right on time. With the early snow I have more Christmas presents on order. With Smartpack I took advantage of the Barn Buddie shipping discount and my AQHA five percent off. Every little bit helps. So many folks to buy for these days. I need to sit down and do some card creating to supplement my gifts.

It appears that fall makes Josie crabby and really excites the JRT's. Josie is not happy when being groomed and saddled lately. I think it has to do with her coat coming in. She has never been a big fan of having mud removed either. I have accepted this and try to do minimal grooming. Don't want to upset Mare. She can be vindictive as proven when someone tried to show me how to get her to stop biting and when they finished she bit them. So besides having a time of the month, she also has a time of the year except this one lasts for four months. Joy, oh, joy! (Immense sarcasm here).

Josie reminds of Tilly and Strawberry at times. Wyatt reminds me of Little Man from my farm days. Pixie I have no comparison for. She is her own unique self.

I had a great ride on Tuesday night and decided to take Thursday night off from riding and play with the pups. Earlier in the week Pix had located a vole nest. I wasn't sure if she got full size or what but it was soon revealed later during our walk she had gotten three babies. I have stayed off and out of our hunting grounds to ensure we have some winter fun. I hope it works.
