Wyatt's third trial and Pixie's second. The weather was better but still very windy.

I was looking forward to getting Wy's martingale back and Pix's new one but alas we must wait longer. I did buy Wyatt a really cool black collar with barbwire etched in it.

The pups had to stay in the truck. It remained windy all day. Had to tell myself the wind was good as it was drying things up. I took them for a walk and got to where they could be off leash. Wouldn't you know Wy would find something stinky to roll in with his new collar. Luckily, I was prepared with disposable wash cloths.

Wyatt kept wanting to go to the go-to-ground. I wanted to make sure we got some agility practice in. He was VERY happy to be in the ring. Pixie's practice went very well.

Wyatt placed second in Starters Agility so he qualified for one leg and we had to move up to Agility 1. I was amazed that he Q'd as he was insane!! I tried the new style of setting him down and doing the run it was good but he didn't wait for instruction. I don't see us being more than hacks at this point so it doesn't matter. He so loves his agility.

Pixie was a dear, slow but a dear.

I remembered to bring the rubber rat and got them both pysched before their GTG. Pixie passed her Novice (stared intently was the comment) so I paid for an Open run. Open has more turns. She remembered how the novice tunnel was so she went that route and with no rat where it use to be she turned around and came back out. That's my butterfly girl.

Wyatt was barking and lunging waiting for his turn. I was very hopeful he would be barking at the rat in the tunnel. Wyatt had passed his Novice last year, he passed Open today to qualify for a hunting certificate. He just hung out in the tunnel close to the rat but not barking or scratching at it. Once the cage was lifted he lunged for it. He is too smart - can't get through wooden spokes to get at rat wait until they show it to me and make my move then.

Back in the truck to wait for Jumpers for both dogs. I got a cute shirt - On weekends my puppy and I barhop. Too cute.
