Monkey came with a noise box which made actual monkey sounds and caused quite a rucas with the dogs. I think they thought they had a live one. Luckily, the creators of this toy made one of those velcro openings so I could extract the box before it started get smashed by iron jaws Wy.
Much snowing going on around here. I meant to go to the barn on Sunday at 1 but got a call from L saying it was pretty bad out that way.
Yesterday, I was again planning and it started snowing. I am not getting as much riding in pre surg as I would like. One nice thing, I was able to clean up my bedroom and the second room. I am getting a love seat/hide-a-bed for the second room. This room is my tack room so much organizing had to be done. My bedroom is almost ready for me post op. I will have my laptops on a table to my right and with my existing end table and the addition of a small table from the second room, I'll have a place to set miscellaneous items. I also put a two shelved stand to put VHS tapes on for viewing during my convalescence.
I received some really nice gifts. A saddle pad for Josie which I will have to take a picture of as I would not be able to describe it decently. A robe which has my initials on it which will be lovely for recovery. I also received a couple of books which I am saving to read while healing.
