Traffic bites! I will be very happy when they complete the construction on 41. My trip time will greatly improve.
Josie is coming into the barn on her own to eat. J the barn manager said she was very cute. She went past her spot and went into the locker aisle and looked at her like where is my food.
Her cough has improved as in not so much but it is still there. I tied her to the hitching post and she would put her head and neck over the iron barn to eat and it would make her cough.
There was a lesson going when I started so we stayed out of the way. Training day 2 for the mounting block. It only took about 4 times this time. Once she stands still she stays still until I ask her to move off.
I thought I better try the canter and she got anxious about it but I did get it once. When I tried again she would just trot faster and faster. I took her to the round pen to try from the ground, let her go and asked for the canter (AND canter with a kiss sound) in both directions. She wasn't as flustered and got it. We ended on that.
The pups had a hunting opp but the mouse got out of the locker. Next time we will put Pix in the close the door. Both were very animated after that - very funny.
This is the anniversary of my coming to Minnesota back in 1979. OMG! I can't believe it was that long ago.
