The pups have come up with something to occupy themselves while we drive to the barn. I call it Fly Hunt or Test the Driver. Nothing like Pix on the hunt jumping and diving while I am doing 50 miles an hour. Here is Wyatt willing the fly to move so he can get it as Wy is too afraid to jump onto the floor of the truck. He is SO into self-preservation. I had pictures of both of them but had a DFU moment and only have this one for now.
We had a Health Fair at work today. Got some freebies and a health check. It took two tries on one hand to fill the little dropper only to have the Cholesterol machine fail and then another try on the other hand after drinking to succeed. While my count wasn't as good as it should be I have good genes (imagine that!) and they make up for the bad. I was very surprised at my body fat - I am considered Fit. I have to look up my old count which was when I was really fit and see what the difference is.
Went to Joey's for a drink and some snacks. Nice little place.
Filled up for a $2.64 the lowest it has been for quite a while.
I was greeted with the usual vigor from my two pals. It was raining so we didn't stay out long. I need to redecorate to accommodate for indoor agility and fetch games. I have scheduled vacation the last week of October and hope to get a few chores done. I will be cat sitting L and E's lovely felines for the week. Mileage will be saved not having to drive the 31 miles one way to the barn. Next week, I cat sit Napoleon for three days.
Now that I am listed on "This is Our Life" I will have to keep my blog properly updated.
Tomorrow night - I ride.
