Switched things up and didn't go to the barn for the entire weekend. It was weird but very relaxing. Because I hadn't ridden and Pix is to be picked up Tuesday, I went to the barn.

Saturday, I baked horsey treats for the first time. We have two kinds to try. I think she will like the applesauce ones the best. I actually like the taste of that one best. I did a little free handing with some of the ingredients so I probably won't be able to replicate them. I need to get some sweet feed - quite a few of the recipes include that ingredient.

Wyatt and Pix had a wonderful time playing with their pals. The gopher dash to the top of the hill was hysterical. Pix gets underneath the other dogs and comes up growling.

I rode outside in my dressage saddle. I really must get back to breaking my jumping saddle in. There was a jumping lesson going on. We warmed up our way. I have been trying more leg yield so we practiced that both directions a few times. She isn't speeding up so much when I apply my leg to move her over. We cantered in both directions. She is really coming along nicely. I love my little girl.

I was going to put the bell boots back on but couldn't find a matching pair.

Vet is scheduled for Friday. I have a list!
