Time is just flying by! Josie got her snow pads off. She is still shedding like crazy.

I am still breaking in the new saddle. I worry about whether I am placing it correctly on her still. I made it two laps around in two point at the trot. Woot hoot! I had to avoid two riders that were taking up the arena. Doing tandem movements but with one rider on one end and another on the other. Arena hogs!

I think I forgot to mention the flashlight incident a couple of weeks ago. I have a small, metal flashlight that I use to navigate through the ice going to the red barn. We were almost back, preparing to go down the little hill to the barn when she snatched it out of my hand. I try to get it out of her mouth, separating her jaws and trying to shake it out. She is NOT liking this. I finally get it out. The adrenaline has hit by now. Geeze! This scared me so. Naughty little girl!

Pixie's foot seems to have totally healed. All the running she did today and she remained four legged. Thank goodness. Both dogs were pretty squirrely as they haven't gotten to do much with Pixie convalescence.

Looking forward to the weekend. Happy hour on Friday and Big Bang Marathon on Saturday night (dinner included). This means I will need to get up early Saturday to go ride. Not sure if the weather is going to cooperate to try to sneak out on trail. We will see.
