The forecast had predicted rain for Sunday so I pretty much went into the weekend taking Sunday off of riding. It was nice out so the pups and I did an hour walk in the morning.

I watched an extremely good foreign film (I believe Arturo suggested it),

The Lives of Others

. I loved the ending "Do you want this gift wrapped? No, this is for me." I won't say more less you all end up watching it. The previews included Black Book which I now have on my Netflix and The Jane Austen Book Club. Netflix happened to have this as a instant movie so I followed with that.

The pups and I took another hour long walk. Pix seems to be marking more - could it be that she is preparing for her next season? I sure hope so. I just want this over with.

As the day has progressed the winds picked up. By late evening I thought the siding was going to come off. The high winds gave cause to several rounds of infuriated barking by the pups. Wyatt's hackles were raised a few times. He is such tough stuff.

What a nice lazy day I had. All rejuvenated for another work week.
