With a slightly warmer day and little wind, the pups and I headed to the field for a little hunting. I could see tracks on the ground and a few hole entrances. Lots of snuffling and digging but we didn't get anything. Darn crafty voles! The edge was taken off the pups. The indicator is a loose leash when walking back. I am still making up for keeping them in the kennel Saturday while I was at the show. This weekend's temps are to be in the 40's so they will be attending the clinic with me for sure.
I was on FB for quite a while tonight. I have way too many SuperPoke Friends. I am going to start ignoring requests. It takes quite a long time to pet the pets these days. I am sitting on about 60,000 coins.
I wrote G a thank you for her positive, accurate feedback on my tests. I wish I could ride for more than an hour but that just wouldn't be fair to Josie. We have so many things to work on. Not falling into the trot, bending and better canter departs without flexing to the wrong side. She is only almost four and I keep that in mind. Tomorrow night I will play with the new jumping saddle. She can just motor along and I will practice two point. I am so looking forward to the clinic this weekend. I want to be a sponge and soak up as much as I can.
Got my State refund today - little sigh of relief there let me tell you.
