Josie and I have now been together for a year. Boy did that go by fast. Team Johnson has done a lot together: fun show, cattle sorting, hitchhiking to sorting, two saddle fittings, transitioning from western saddle to dressage saddle, Cleon Clinic with me driving the big duly with goose neck trailer, loading and unloading by ourselves, conquering the canter, Desensitisation Clinic and not enough trail riding. I have survived her buck and we both survived her gas colic of recent on September 6.
We are on the count down for our second fun show. Costume is ready. Although I better make sure my chaps still fit - ugh! I need to make stencils of my hand and I was thinking a crescent moon and then a circle around her eye for Josie. That would be besides the rhythm beads. I will be sure to take pictures and have someone take a picture or three of us.
I am hoping she gets her shoe put on today so we can continue on our journey to the higher levels of dressage. Okay, so staying on, forward, stopping, turning, trotting and cantering :)
