Pix is only slightly greedy!
Ahhhhhh, Sunday! Woke early or should I say was woken early by my little bell ringer Wy. It was very comfortable this morning. Almost chilly going out in shorts and a tank.
I am very proud - I have exercised three days in a row. Starting to get a momentum going again.
Got a couple things done, sat down in the chair, started a movie and took a nap. I was going to try to be productive today but the cloud cover just made it mentally not possible.
I am most amazed. I ate green and yellow zucchini and some other vegetables in this meal bag. Shrimp some Italian named dinner. It was very good.
Josie was a super star today. I am slowly but surely figuring out how to get her to canter and not ending up pissing her off in the process. If I could just tell her that if she would just go into it when I ask I wouldn't wobble around in the saddle or press her with the spur. I asked her two times on both sides and have made it three quarters of the way around - that means 3 turns - YAHOOOO!
The reports were that the bugs were not bugging folks on trail. Darn it! I should have brought my western saddle with today so I could go out with the gals. I think Josie would do okay with most horses now. Meaning if one of them were frightened I don't think it would bother her too much.
Yesterday I rode in my western saddle as I wanted to ride around outside with the pups. I started her indoors and she kept anticipating cantering. I decided to use this to my advantage and got some nice canter strike offs. We rode around a bit outside and checked out the big blue tarp. Once she was use to it she tried to eat it.
I am soooo looking forward to the desensitisation clinic in September.
