What a wonderful day! Packed up to go swimming with the pups and riding Josie. Got about half way there before I realized I had forgotten my paddock boots. That will soon be remedied when my new paddock boots arrive. I'll keep the old yucky ones at the barn and never fear paddock boots are here.

We walked down to the lake, Wy and Pix running ahead and glancing back with a look like will you hurry up! I had brought along their sticks which are one of those great toys I have purchased. The water was pretty much okay with a bit of a blue green tinge. Wading around and the dogs swimming seem to take that away. For me to swim I had to walk out quite a ways. The bottom is very sandy and nice. You would feel cool springs here and there but they were refreshing. Once I looked back and Wy was swimming towards me so I called to him and he did one of his half circles and swam back to shore. He just doesn't want to come out too far. He did go farther than he has ever gone before. Pix was engrossed in dunking and biting her stick and didn't even notice I wasn't right there.

Josie was in good shape so treats for good bye and off home to bathe the dogs.

I had a couple of tired pups . . .
