Looking forward to attempting canter in the dressage saddle today. It might not seem like a big deal but it is totally different to switch from English to Western and then back again. I think Josie does like the English saddle better - much lighter.

Gosh darn it!! She is off. I could tell at the trot but wasn't sure and had S watch her after she finished riding. I kept Josie walking, tried trotting and could just tell something wasn't quite right. I remember a couple of days ago noticing a cut which I clean and treated. There was a new kid on the block which causes them to run around like nuts so she must have aggravated it. I think she likes that she is no longer at the bottom on the hierarchy. One notch up - yahoooo!

I decided to try not to freak out (flash backs of PJ) and wait to see how she is Tuesday.
