Only in Minnesota . . . woke to the ground covered with snow. Lovely day to go to the Horse Expo. L and I met up at the expo. Usually, I have to park and walk quite aways. My spot was relatively close to the ticket boths. I didn't dress warm enough. Of course this is a good place to need to buy another layer. I got a vest made of washable suede with a jumper on it. I love it!

After searching all over seeing what the price ranges were, I found leather saddle bags in the size I wanted - red in color but most like what I wanted.

I spent the rest of the day getting things done that I had been putting off. I fired up my new forman grill and grilled some venison - mmmmm good, mmmm good.

I had other leather items to clean and decided it would be a good idea to get some of that red dye off so I didn't end up with a red buckskin. Now, the red is actually starting to grow on me.
