Yippee! I got the tubes out. No more cleaning the drains three times a day and trying to figure out if I was under 30cc's in a 24 hour period. Doc said my scars are healing nicely.

Glorious to have them out but mind you it was a bit painful. It is the tube coming through the skin that hurts. I can move better and at long last sleep on my back. I have been living in flannel PJ's for a week. On my outings I have been wearing button shirts and had these pockets suspended from my neck for those darn drains. I can finally where over the head shirts - yahoo!
