Well, my life's journey has hit a bit of rough, rocky road. At 4:40 today I received the call from the surgeon regarding my biopsy results. In situ, the early stage of breast cancer. The good thing is I basically had a lumpectomy so it is out, the bad is I have to have radiation. At this point I only know what I have looked up five days a week for 5 or 6 weeks - YIKES!

I browsed through catalogs for a bridle for Josie. Then, I took the dogs for a very long walk. The waiting for the call was killing me so off we went. Three quarters of the way through I got the call with the news no one wants. One was a centimeter and one was five centimeters. I thought we were only worried about the flecks. She was right, I would think of questions after the call. Her peeps will be setting up the appointments for the radiation treatment. I really am not looking forward to this waste of my mileage ;)

I got home and downed a shot of Jose with a beer chaser. My kinda therapy. So overall feeling okay about this. There isn't anything you can do, it is out and there will be follow up so keep steppin' TJ
