Appointment time finally here! I get there and get situated on the table with a hole it get put into several positions and have a few x-rays taken but my calcium flecks were to small and they couldn't find them. So I thought I was only gong to have two more days to find out but NO! Now I wait for my regular doctor to call so I can get scheduled with a surgeon. I just hope this doesn't interfere with my week off. I want to get done with this ASAP but also want to enjoy my vacation.
Pix had her yearly exam. I brought the paperwork for the vet to fill out so I can get her registered with the JRTCA. She was all happy to be there. In the waiting room she was looking at other people and had a slight whine with total body wiggle. See me, pet me and aren't I the cutest. She weighed in at 13.25 so I have been managing her weight better than I originally managed Wyatt's. I need to put him on the scale - bad thing is I would need to get on too! Back to Pix. We wait in the room and do some training to pass the time. I had her scanned to make sure her chip matched with what I had for a number and to make sure it was still there. Almost forgot to give them the sample she had provided - yeah no worms. They tried bribing her with some soft food but she knew something was up and gave out a yip for each shot. This is the last time she has to have all three. Now they will be spaced out - like Rabies in 3 years. So we will see how happy she is to be at the vet next time. She didn't turn her back on Dr. P after the shots. The food she wouldn't have anything to do with immediately was bolted down.
We did a couple rain walks. Played fetch in the house and garage.
