Oh the hunt!

I am sure there is one in here . . .

Pixie! It is my turn . . .

Took the pups for a hunt after work. After scarfing up a nest, they were on the run checking the entire field. I thought Pixie had something. She was tearing the grass out and then the mud by the mouthful. Pix isn't as reliable as Wyatt but I like to give her the benefit of the doubt. She did not want to leave but was getting dirtier by the minute. She had mud berries on her paws. Wyatt was caught up in Pix's excitement and was barking like crazy.

I went to a National Camera beginner class for camcorders. It was extremely informative. I found that my camera's view finder is no longer working. I never use it as I usually use the tripod for taping my horse riding and use the LCD when taping the dogs. I also noticed more noise when it is running. I will be dropping it off for a cleaning - much cheaper than buying a new one! Got some tips on shooting and care of the camera. Something I almost always do is leave the tape in - big no no. Also, top of your battery every month or so. The instructor gave tips on setting the scene, tape a sign, brochure or program for at least 10 seconds (allow for your possible slowest reader to be able to read it), don't talk and your camera will pick up more sound around you. I took copious notes and will try to put all in practice.
