Just when you are getting confident and thinking you are doing well at agility, you are thrown a curve ball. I don't know if it was the heat or the fact that they stepped it up a bit but I sucked!! I haven't been practicing as I should but I made a point of jumping Wy and going through the weave poles. I had started standing back and sending him to them. I know I get really excited and that transfers to Wyatt but come on.
We did more course work than ever which was way fun. It is hard to tell who they are referring to when making comments. I felt that I did well getting Wyatt to the tunnel and then hustling to get to the tunnel to direct him to the weaves. I took their advice and said weave as he was still in the tunnel, kept out of his way and he did it perfectly. Because I got excited I missed the next jump. Grrrr no wonder Wyatt yells at me so.
The other side also had weave poles but they were haphazard. We definitely need to work more on the table. Tomorrow night since Pixie has come into season will be a Wyatt night as Pix is not able to attend obedience.
Speaking of Pixie, I will be glad when she is out of season. She totally becomes a different dog and tries to take over leadership which of course is not acceptable. Wyatt is even staying away from her. While I was chatting with the neighbors she proceeded to destroy bubba wubba while Wyatt was sitting in my lap due to the impending storm. I am hoping we are in the second week and just have a week or so left.
Been busy cleaning otherwise due to possible house guest. Otherwise, all is well.
