Where's Wyatt???

The pups and I went for a morning hunt. We have yet to come up with more than a nest. Both were snuffling intently in quite a few areas. The snow is fast in melting and pointing out definite holes has only led to a snuffle and move on by Wyatt. Pixie is very entertaining on these expeditions. Any interest Wyatt shows in an area causes her to pounce and over take the snuffling, scratching of her own. Wyatt and I sigh and move on. It is evident that she is scaring the game away as she does her Tigger impersonation running ahead and zig zagging through unhunted areas.

Went for our run today. Wyatt was very excited to go. Perhaps recognizing the running attire already. He was a bit full of himself but settled into running at my side. For Pixie's round it takes at least a few blocks to get her to settle in. I revised our route and drove it afterwards to find that we now have a route that is approximately just over nine tenths - good enough I say.

Went to the barn and took the entire pack for a walk. Noticed Pix had a little blood on her rear toenails due to the ice crust. We did make a good game of ice shuffle (sliding ice chips across the crust for the pups to chase). This was fine until Pixie thought all ice pucks should be hers. She and Walker got into it a bit.

Went to dinner at McGarrys for S and D's b-day celebrations. I had the best Walleye I have ever had. I wish I knew what seasonings they used - mmmmm good!
