Soooooo, lots has been happening and not much of it good. PJ started being lame on Memorial Day wishful (useless) hoping that it was due to the bugs coming out in the hot weather but NO! He is off. Three days on Bute did not help. I saddled him up on June 3 and he was very off. I got out early that day to let him out when the geldings went to grass. They were letting them out when I arrived. Well, no wonder he is sore. He was racing around the paddock just crazed. He wouldn't even let me catch him. Finally caught him and put him in a stall to apply fly spray and then I let him go. He proceeded to gallop out and immediatly bury his head in the grass. He didn't run at all. So after he was brought in and I determined he was way off I decided to just have him go out with the herd. He will do less damage to himself.

The pup I was going to get injured her leg and I have decided to pass. I will wait until Vixen has pups and hopefully there will be a female.

I was going to enter a show just to get PJ exposed but after what I saw I will make an appointment the week I am on vacation and see if they can't fix him. If they can't I just don't know what I will do. Despair is very heavy in the air.

On the upside, the Agility In A Bag arrived on Thursday, June 1 and I put it together - no small feat!
