My first lesson in MONTHS!!! PJ seemed high but manageable. I warmed up for ten minutes. K says he still is off. Being indecisive I was not sure if he was better or worse than the last time I rode him. She says he looks like he is guarding himself. I guess he had been tearing around before I got there - did he do something then - I just DON'T KNOW. The more I think about it he seemed worse than he had before. Today he was cutting into the middle.
On a much better note . . . the score is now Wyatt 3 and Voles 5. Look out we are coming from behind. I helped D move a water tank. Both of us thought at the same time thar could be rats in there. I was excited and D was disgusted. I called the big hunter over lifted the tub and shure enough there one went, with much encouraging from me Wyatt was on the hunt. I kept spotting the vole further up the network of tunnels along the fence line. With a hearty Get the Rat! to signal Wyatt he was on it. He enjoyed his kill, that is throwing it around and scrambling after it. He didn't want to give it up. I got him to bring his trophy along and got the camera and took two pictures. I sure hope they turn out.
