Yucky day it snowed all day but only enough to keet the roads wet and make Ol' Blu dirty. PJ was clean except for his legs. D said she managed to have him out all day today. He must not have moved around much. He was a little flinchy once I got him in the arena. I was able to lunge before riding. My luck the D horse was in there must excude bad vibes. PJ remained calm for the most part on the lunge. We had once little spook when the bathroom door closed. I walked a lot before trotting. He took a while to come down but we were able to canter in both directions and he felt good. Will just keep as is for a few days. At least I am back in the saddle and hopefully will stay in it (on both accounts!).

Checked PJ's back before and after. He is a little sore. I decided to use a rubber nubby massage type brush on his back after and see if that helps. Drat I won't be out there until Saturday morning to test my theory.
