To get Wyatt settled for class tonight we went for quite a long neighborhood walk. He carried "blue ball" the entire way. I took it away when we crossed 47 - all I need was for him to shoot it out of his mouth into traffic.
One of our Obedience I puppies is in our class. Zoey - a really sweet Sheltie. They may stay through to agility.
Wyatt was very good in class. Our practicing had paid off! We are doing the 10 different items required to pass the CGC (Canine Good Citizen). The first we tried was I was given one of the other dogs and Wyatt was taken out of the area into another room by that dog's person. Apparently Wyatt suffered slightly from separation anxiety (I am wondering if he didn't hear me - must remember to keep my trap shut during the test) but not overly so. I don't blame him the last time he was lead away from me he had his little peas removed and stayed ina kennel for a day and half or more. They stayed out for 3 minutes which seemed very long. One of the instructor's who loves Wyatt said to come to class early and she will work with us on it. So hard to practice when it is just me and him.
