I had the best ride EVER during my lesson. Except for our shoulder-ins, shallow serpentines and full serpentines SUCKed! PJ and I did received the compliment "I can see the partnership". This is good and means a lot coming from my instructor. She was very happy with the forward we had achieved. Team J might not be the best but we try HARDER! It has been cool all morning and the sun comes breaks out in time to heat things up for my lesson. I was hoping to venture outside for half the lesson but it had rained. DARN!

Back to the lesson . . . we had several good transitions - trot, canter and even trot, walk. He is staying in front of my leg much better. My balance has improved so much that I can transition much faster. PJ got a little fussy towards the end pulling on the reins. We need to slow down for our shoulder-in. The counter shoulder-in threw me - had to think and do. Peej is like can't move, you have totally blocked me. I will work on this next ride. But all in all PJ was very pleased with himself when we finished.
