Here is Uber Mare's new dressage pad

Can't type much - still resting the tendinitis. Grrrrrr!
Show - went very well. Still haven't broke 60 - so close. Mare decided not to pick up the right lead canter, she proceeded to pick up the left lead at my next request and when I brought her back and asked again her tail whipped through the air - boy was she mad. I have watched to footage a few times and think to myself well, serves you right then. We received a Third and Fifth placings.
Drum roll please . . . we received two Seconds one in trot poles and one in 18" verticals. We ended up inside due to rain and let me tell you those jumps looked big and came up quick. Warming up I trotted around the outside and had an inner dialog which thankfully NDM won out on. I was close to withdrawing and hadn't even attempted to take a warm-up jump. NDM said just try one. I picked the vertical with the flower boxes underneath. She sailed over it. Okay LET THE CONTEST BEGIN! I was very pleased with our round. I am totally amazed that my little mare can trot over an 18" vertical. These two were on the diagonal. Watching the tape is very funny as I expect these to be jumps and I voice my surprise at the trot effort by said Mare. This means we need bigger jumps - thanks Mare ;) I reved up the engine for the three remaining jumps which we jumped very nicely. I gave a very happy WHUP! At the end of our round. I was most happy to have done it for one and had a clean go round. Uber Mare looked very happy on the tape and this pleases me most of all. I really think she is starting to like it.Go Team Johnson - two portions of eventing are under our belt now.
