I went and watched LO take a lesson from Janet Foy. I really like JF. She gives good analogies and reviews what she has gone over. Kans and LO did splendidly. We will have to watch the tape. Overall I think I did a good job with only phasing out while watching and listening a couple of times. LO was to ride the next day but she got moved up to earlier and I decided not to go.

Saturday, I had hoped to ride outside. I opted for inside. She came running when I called her. Josie still hadn't lost that nasty scab. I thought for sure she would have rubbed it off by now but she hadn't.

She was happy to be moving around. We both ended up sweaty. I took the bridle off the normal way hoping to dislodge the scab. It helped but was still hanging in there. After the bridle comes off she likes her mouth and ears rubbed. I took advantage of that and got the big hunk to come off. The back of her ear now resembles hamburger. GROSS!!!

The pups were enjoying the "warm" weather. Speed bursts down the driveway to get Josie.

We had some snow overnight so the pups and I went on a hunting expedition. Several tracks and holes but not a vole in sight. Pix found a nest which she quickly dispatched - the nest, no voles. It wasn't too long before Wyatt signaled it was time to go home. This is done by trotting determinedly to the street. He would rather hunt in the comfort of his home. Pixie would stop from time to time to pick snowballs off her front legs. She enjoys me taking them off when we get home - free belly scratch. Otherwise we were pretty lazy Monday.

I watched Taking Chance and highly recommend it. You can't thank a soldier enough for risking their life and in this case losing it.

I watched "Bolt" a very cute Disney movie. My next dog will be Bolt but hmmmm maybe not a good idea. Kind of like don't name your horse Buck.

Pix is over her season - thank goodness! I am thinking of having her spayed by a vet that P takes her pups to. Out of town vets are much less expensive. I have to call and get the details.

I figured out how to reduce the size of photos and will have many to post once I get around to putting them on a memory stick. I forgot just how cute Pix's pups are. Oh, I do miss that little girl. I wish I had enough property to have more animals. Oh, well.

Today was a lazy day.
