Chugging through my To Do list, I am ready to enter my AQHA Ride program points and I got Coal in to check the leak. Speaking of points, I really need to keep track as I ride but at least I had my blog to double check. I used one of my $25 gift certs for Drysdales. Got myself the Wii Bull Riding game. I can't wait! You can be the bull rider or the bull. Yup! I can now be ridden by Justin McBride - YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and Yeeeeeeeehaw!

Josie is really looking good these days. We need to do more conditioning work (both of us!). I will be pulling out the jumping saddle this weekend. I plan to go watch P ride for Ralph Hill and I know I will get the bug to start Josie over a cross rail or two.

The way that I usually ride to the updoor was blocked by the hugest snake, that is what Josie thought it was but it was a horse eating garden hose. I didn't want to school this with me not warmed up and her amped up so I got her to take a step forward and circled back to go the other driveway. I figured it would still be there when we returned and it would be between us and the barn.

They installed a huge wooden mounting block in the updoor so there was a training op that couldn't be avoided. She was very forward but yet pretty much controllable today. We did our homework from our lesson. Today it was very easy to leg yield on the fence to the left and after that better to the right. I tried a few feet away from the wall and got a few steps. I am making a point to ride circles where she wants to go out the gate - make it work to be there and she might treat it like the rest of the arena. She tries to step into the canter there when I put my leg on to keep her turning. I can really tell my left side is weaker. At this rate it will get much stronger :)

I cantered from the walk and boy did she ever jump into the canter. This was our left lead. I was going ask for the right from walk but she was anticipating way too much so we did some other work and then I never got around to trying again. M and I walked back to my barn and past the snake, I mean garden hose. We walked past again and then Josie and I circled it. No issue.

Tomorrow night is Canterbury opener. E, I and L are going. C is ponying. Her horses won't run until July I think. It ought to be fun. Not too much fun though as I need to be at Trophy Hill before 9 a.m.

P from work asked if I would go look a horse with her. She has vid for me to watch tomorrow. I feel for her as her current horse requires surgery which would give him a 50/50 chance of being able to do what she wants. I learned the hard way listen to Dr. B. I am glad she is looking at this one.

Just not totally sure Pix is preggers. You would think she would be showing more. I have her eating again with canned food. Can't wait to wean her off that stinky stuff.
