Last night was fun. Even got to do a few free style dances. The band was Mr. Winky - too funny. They handed out sunglasses for the ZZ Top song "Wear some cheap sunglasses". Good way to get crowd participation.

Saturday, I rode midday as I was going to Big Bang. I got Josie ready down (Man! does that horse have a lot of hair coming out)at the red barn and we walked up to the arena barn. On the way she calmly checked out the pink car of one of the twins. I did the warm up without stirrups and then we worked on spiral in and out. I did a few serpentines (when I could)and we practiced a couple of walk canter departs. Today I didn't try so hard so they were much better. I am not riding her too hard until she loses more of her coat and becomes better adjusted to the temperatures. She is sweating easily and puffing after a little bit of work.

I took her outside to cool off. We walked over half way down the lane and back. This was while hay was being unloaded at the upper barn. She didn't even care.

Oh, my goodness! Who would have ever thought I would try omelet with salmon, cream cheese and onions. Oh, it was delicious. B is the BEST cooker! It was good to catch up with all the BW folks. We watched the Big Bang and laughed and laughed and laughed.

I stayed up to play with the pups to make up for keeping them in their kennels while I was out having fun.
