Oh, it is so nice outside. There was blue sky and a huge setting sun for the drive to CC. I wanted to get in and out fast (well, my version of fast) as I stayed up too late last night watching the DVD of my schooling show rides. Tonight emphasis will be on my position with attention to Josie accept contact and bending. She was stiff to the left which isn't like her. Everything felt okay so maybe she just tweaked herself and is sore. I am getting better bending to the right. Our canter departs were not as right there as I would like them to be but she is much more relaxed about cantering and I will take that.

My position was much better tonight. I am also focusing on keeping my hands closer and my elbows back. I notice Josie liked that contact better. She even had a little foam tonight. I got her steaming which I try not to do during the week. I had to pull out the hair dryer. She was not pleased.

Wyatt pulled his "I don't want to go in the kennel" tonight. Looking forward to warmer weather where they can sit in the vehicle when I am riding or better yet, we go on a trail ride together. I don't know if it because last night Pixie kacked a few times after eating dry horse apples. He hates it when she does that.

I went home and watched the DVD another 10 times. I love my horse!
