Quite the dicey drive out to the barn. I call it ice rain, it builds all over your vehicle body, windows and most annoyingly the wiper blades. I made it to the barn as the last few folks were clearing out.

I gave Josie a mane touch up - much needed I might add. I did a combination of the Solo comb (thanks for the idea M) and actually mane pulling comb. I have now discovered the little miss doesn't like to be in the cross ties. I can do anything I want to her in the install but try to do the same in the cross ties and you better be wary. She is very quick. I haven't figured out if it is something I have done or maybe during shoeing or vetting - I just don't know. I thought it was static charge so I take off my vest and try to wear long sleeved t-shirts that don't spark us up.

I was a little worried after the last ride that our canter leads were messed up again. Fear not little T, your steed is fine - YOU JUST NEED TO QUIT TRYING SO HARD! Whisper T, whisper sssshhhh whisper. I rode through the three tests. It bears saying one more time - how am I ever going to remember these!!!

The ice rain had turned to legitimate snow so the ride home we averaged 40 - 50 mph. I am fine it is those other darn drivers. "Duh! I got four wheel drive and my vehicle is jacked up with huge tires, I'll go as fast as I please." Well, duh, you have messed up the natural balance of your vehicle and no matter what you shouldn't be doing 60 - 65+. See you in the ditch once I go a few more miles.

Addiction to Facebook is spreading rapidly. I have a pet, mob wars, might of many and five other things going on. I think the pups are planning an intervention. Wyatt is plunking toys on the computer and in my lap. Pixie just sits with one in her mouth or tucked under her chin. Balance, I need to balance.
