Scheduling conflicts this weekend. I am suppose to be at a party at 11:30 on Saturday but want to watch a clinic at my barn. Guess which is going to win.

Snowing here in the big shitty. I love having my car in the garage. I will remind myself that when I start to organize the second bedroom that got to be the dumping ground for all garage things.

The snow wasn't sticking here but it covered the ground at the barn. As I had hoped, my ride was awesome! After a couple of attempts I achieved the left lead canter. Gee what will I work on once this is totally conquered? She is accepting more contact. Her mouth was foamy after our session. Now that I am really turning my upper body when on the right rein she is bending more. Oh! I just remembered we need to work on our downward transitions. With working on the canter she is the little energizer bunny and wants to keep going. It is taking quite a few strides to get from trot to walk.

Today, she had a better understand of one leg means move to the side. I have to remind myself to whisper and be VERY specific with the canter aids.

I felt bad as I forgot to bring the coats for the pups. They were a little chilly but survived. I have loaded up spare coats to keep in the rig. I still call my vehicle a truck and rig - it makes me fill better about it.
