Where or where has my memory gone. Oh, where or where can it be . . .

I had made an appointment for a dermatologist which had been put off due to being in the breast cancer whirlwind. I had to take half a day off because of the new regime and thought it was today. The day looks much better when you think you will only be there for half of it. I called the doc's office just to be sure as they charge $50 if you don't keep an appointment. Yup, next Tuesday. So I suffered through the day that at first had been so bright.

Sunday is the Fun Show and we are entered in the Costume contest. I tried the glitter gel on Wyatt but it didn't work very well. My first thought was uh oh but then I decided to wait and see how it worked on Josie. I put a heart on her rump. It stayed on for most of the ride. I think we will be okay. I will have to free hand my designs and it probably won't be a good idea to put a circle around her eye as it might run.

She was crabby and it soon became evident as to why. She was gassy from that luscious grass in the third field. I am very glad I came out to ride. She toot tooted for most of the ride.

We did the best canter depart onto the right lead. I have not been cantering to get her back to just trotting. Things were going very well last night so without any ado I asked for the canter from the walk. She jumped right into it. It was lovely. I then became greedy and tried the left lead. Three tries and she kept taking the right lead. Rather than get her wringing wet. I decided to just trot. She only tried rushing a few times and then settled back down. We walked to cool off.

My method of taking her tack off and then putting her in the shower stall to relieve herself is working very well. She was wet enough that I had to use the hair dryer. We have reached a comprimise of me not rubbing her hair around and just using the dryer. I added a couple apples during the process to make it more enjoyable for her. Pretty soon she will be like the pups when I reach for the drummel they fight over who will be first. Each trying to get in my lap and flip upside down.

Diet is working pretty good. Managed to do a little yoga on the Wii last night.

Hiya! I really like the new look! Very "fresh". Love the new drop-down menu for the blog archiving, too. I'm gonna go see if I can put that on ours right now.

Any plans for a late season Up North trip?

:)
