Clinic day has finally arrived. Heather, a trainer and winner of this year's Trottbrook Training level, put on a desensitation clinic for a small nominal fee (no seriously it wasn't a bad price at all).

Josie did well with everything. It started out bad. Josie and I walk into the arena to Little J (kind of a naughty one) rolling a 50 gallon white barrel at us at Mach 9. Josie yumped like crazy. I decided not to get on right away after that. I did most of the clinic from the ground. We walked over a blue tarp, exposed to plastic bags doing goofy things, umbrellas opening and closing, twirling and coming towards us. Pennant flags, hose on the ground and one I really appreciated was the garage door to the arena opening and closing. Josie isn't a big fan of it. She had some of the cutest looks on her face. I wish I would have taken a picture. There were balloons, popping balloons and noises on the wall outside.

I am very pleased with my little girl. She handled everything well. I mounted after the balloon popping and walked her over the tarp and do a few of the other things. We are building confidence in each other. I take care of you, you take care of me.
