Got up at the crack of dawn, well by the time I hit the snooze it was 5:45. Big sale at Ace Tack and Outfitters. First 100 in the door get a gift bag. My plan was to be one of those 100 and I was approximately 35th. Received a big coupon book with the front coupon being for the gift bag. I had been putting off getting Josie a breast collar for her western saddle. Mission accomplished! I got her the breast collar, picked up boots but put them back, picked up an insulated pommel bag, put that back and trying to stick to plan, I bought a Tough 1 saddle cover in red but if you squint it looks burgundy, the team colors. I looked at the breast collars but said no, like three times. I got an Ariat jacket like my vest. Very lovely in a light rose color. I picked up my gift bag on the way out. What are the odds that the gift bag would have a buckskin on it?? Put everything in the truck, had a smoke and remembered they had dog jackets on sale and maybe look at the breast collar and pommel bag again.

I did get the breast collar but passed on the pommel bag. Wyatt and Pix both got a jacket. Wy's was a polar fleece and Pix's is waterproof on the outside and some kind of wool on the inside. She doesn't normally need anything but when it gets really cold she will be needing this one.
