Still raining . . .

The horses have been pulled from the pasture and are on the dry lot. Needless to say with all this rain it is anything but dry. J has started feeding hay - thank goodness. I would really like more weight on Josie. I let her eat hay for 45 minutes. I had to put on my tall boots to get her - icky! I got her cleaned up as best as I could.

I rode her but felt she was slightly off. This could be due to having twisted her shoe or from slipping around in the mud. I immediately get really worried about permanent issues but am trying not to. I felt it mostly on the right rein. I walked her with the pups back to the barn, oh yeah in the rain and the dark. Must remember to bring flashlight and perhaps leave the dogs until I get her to the red barn. She was a little uncertain.
