Can't rely on the dogs as my alarm clock any more. Between the changing hours and temps, the increased activity due to barn life they like to stay snuggled in bed. We didn't get up until a bit after 9:00.
I wanted to trail ride today but looking outdoors the wimpy part of me plus the sane one that worries about Josie's cough says NO!
I do a few things around the house, pack up and off to the barn. We take our time getting our gear together between rain spats. I let her hand graze and let the pups look for creatures.
Wyatt has decided he doesn't like going into the kennel at the barn. He walks dejectedly in. It is so hard not to laugh.
At first, I thought Josie's cough was better but it has gotten deeper. I feel bad but I think moving around is good. It seemed to losen.
Teaching Josie to eat from the feed bag - been an easy adjustment. Will work for food.
Managed to get home with enough daylight to practice agility. Got to use the little red wagon. Afterwards, L's kid and I took turns riding it down the driveway and around the corner. Much fun! L said and you didn't have kids why? My reply was they would steal all my toys.
