During the afternoon we went for a little walk. Wyatt was very interested in the pond area and going against normal protocol - get them the heck away from there I slid down the hill to see what he was checking out. Guess what our first creature of the new year! I sighted it twice and got Wyatt after it but we failed to make a kill. Pixie was very interested in our antics. We continued on our hunt and came back later but no luck.
