K is worried about Rocky he didn’t eat in the morning and wasn’t moving around. Uh, oh!!!! K and D spoke with her and said this is normal for them to be a little depressed when they are moved. He hasn’t been away from her place for 7 years or so. If he has left it has been for just a few hours (I think).

I waited for the barn to settle down before I rode. I brushed him and gave him treats. He is drinking water and hay. The ride went fairly well. I can keep him going at the trot. I walked him all the way around both directions but at the trot he tends to slow down and/or come in. Need to work on that. K is going to work on his canter on days I do not ride. My schedule this week is pretty hectic.

Wyatt and I are doing two advanced obedience classes to make up for the two weeks of agility I missed. Wyatt was very good in agility on Thursday, we actually did a course with me guiding him correctly and getting him to the element I wanted him to go to. We will be going to agility towards the end of October at Dog Works. Details to arrive soon. Pixie is signed up for Puppy Kindergarten starting the 12th. At this point, she will sit, down and here. We have been primarily focusing on potty training. I have started working on settle. At times she will bring the chippy, Frisbee or ball. I think those times are when she feels like it.

Monday back to work. Wyatt had been setting a wonderful example for Pixie – going into the kennel without a hitch until this morning. I think because I worked at home on Thursday, took Friday off and with the weekend he decided he didn’t need to go in the kennel and if he didn’t it would make the weekend keep going. ;)

L, B, Bandit and her SO came over Saturday night to meet the Pixer. We had some fun. L had raced a 5K that morning and did very well. Perhaps next year it will be the TC Marathon??? I told her hopefully she will do the Iron Man in HI. I would go to help!
