Thanks to MLK day I have a day off. Dr. B was able to fit us in at 1:45 so we got out there a little after noon. PJ came to the gate when he heard me. I was going to leave him out as long as I could but was worried he would get beat up hanging around the gate so I put him in a stall. Played with the pups while I waited for Dr. B. Just as I was going to start cleaning PJ up B showed up.

On the lounge he was actually a little better. I could see that it was more in his shoulder. Dr. B watched both directions then did a flexion test. We then put PJ on level concrete and checked him over. Looking at his coronet bands he was over an inch different. You could see it at the knees also. Dr. B adjusted PJ's should which made it better but he wanted to speak to the farrier. I knew PJ had been last done on 11/30 so he was due any day. B said maybe he should be done more often YIKES!

I kept PJ in the rest of the day. Left a note for the farrier to let me know when he is shod so I can start back up again. With this time off and the change he will need to be started slowly.
