Lesson day :) Got to the barn way early. I managed to get on almost 15 minutes early. We were able to practice our transitions and serpentines before our lesson started.

Sure enough she had us serpentine twice - we had good bend - YEAH! I have been working very hard (when I can) on his bends and suppling. We did walk canter canter walk. Some trot with halts. We are getting much better. K said she could tell I have been working hard.

At one point on a right lead canter depart he bobbled on the front right and then didn't want to take the canter. Afterwards I put linament on it and he didn't freak out - successful training at its best.

K had me post on the opposite diagonal which helped some but not always. What was interesting was long and low he was totally solid!?!?

I finished chores for D and played with ball with Wyatt while I watered.
