Made it to the barn early to do staging for JUMPING Lesson. Took Wy and Tia for a pasture walk. The grasshopper hunting is very good right now. PJ is actually not too dirty.

After two trips into the arena, we get in before jumps are set up so we can do our warm up. PJ is staying pretty strong on his front right. K had us start going over trot poles and a single pole. Two times through and she up verticals with the white blocks on their sides. She then states the horses are bored (or is it her hmmmmm) and puts the blocks to their highest height but with the poles not all the way up so one side is comfortable. We are talking 18" - might not seem much but yahoooooo we are jumping now. I decide not to look at the jumps and just encourage PJ forward so he THINKS I am saying yeah, baby. After making it over a couple times I start to get more daring and actually mean yeah, baby and start aiming towards the center of the jumping. PJ is very happy and canters off upon landing. D is watching and giving moral support - she opted to have S ride Toby.
