Today is the anniversary of purchasing Senda. Time sure flys.
Wyatt was a sleepy puppy today. Figured it out later when I checked his teeth. He is getting his molars in. It looks painful. Will keep an eye on it. Makes sense he was wanting to chew the last few nights.
Finally, made it to the barn. Double header today. Ride PJ AND take Wyatt to Total Puppy. It was a little rainy and cooler though muggy. It appears that PJ made the most of it and galloped a lot. He was sweaty when they came in. Took Wy for his chill out walk so he isn't whining in the crate. I got ready in almost record time despite the efforts of PJ and Wyatt.
I hadn't signed up so didn't go in until 4:45 and only rode for a half hour. We warmed up and worked on forward. He was tired. He didn't want to canter - tough you had enough energy to run around like crazy. I really have much more to work on these days, leg yield in and then out, shoulder in, spiral in and out.
When I showered him I noticed a slight cut on his right hind heel above the cornet (Oh Graceful One). Nothing to worry about just keep an eye on it.
With all this hot weather I have managed to get through quite a bit of those old electrolytes. Brought out the new Probios. Time for good boy apple - very, very drooly.
Wyatt time again. Wyatt was playing with Walker, his best bud. Tia shows up, almost jumping out the window as she see's Wyatt.
Make it to TP with time to spare . . . we are upstairs - yuck most hot up there. After basics, adding in a Wait, they hold Wy I walk away and turn and call him. He learned to crawl today as part of the stretching. Need to come up with a hand signal for bow. Wy is pretty much doing it without assistance from me.
We learned Weave (going through the agility poles) I went too fast and Wy tried to jump over the chicken coop wire that keeps them weaving between the poles. The dog's left shoulder is to go by the first pole. I knew he would be a pro at the tunnel which he was. I have been taking him through playground tunnels and down the slides. I guess the teeter totter is the hardest to teach. I will come up with something so we can practice ahead of time.
I get home and go through the garage open the door to the kitchen and say Oh, Buni! Huni Buni had past away while I was gone. She appeared to have been sleeping. Glad it was quick for her. I hate to say it but I am happy to have my kitchen back. Will give away all bunny stuff. I think she will be the last one. Good bye Huni Bun Bun!

Went to check out Terry's barn and his new horse. I rode Santana - no respect for the bit and a bit of a hot horse. Managed to get him to accept my contact. He is very touchy about leg too. He thinks the most of that horse and it's like well, okay. I only walked and trotted. Terry is riding him in a show this weekend. I watched the grey mare. She is a little cutie. Above the bit the whole time or popping out through the shoulder. I would like to ride her. He offered to let me ride and show her. Hmmmm for sure I would ride. CP isn't too far out of the way. Just not sure of route to get there.
